Discovery and Conservation

Curator of Chauvet Cave, Head of Preservation of Chauvet Cave since 2014.

Her role essentially consists of starting up and coordinating preservation work in the cave, in close collaboration with two other DRAC departments: the Regional Historical Monument Preservation Office, in charge of works and maintenance, and the Regional Archaeology Office for coordinating research in line with the preservation of the cave. Other tasks are under development with the National Centre of Prehistory with a view to setting up an accessible archive (bringing together iconographic collections, a Government Information Service). As for assessment, the Head of Preservation communicates with numerous public groups, such as schools and colleges, and holds joint communication events with the Pont d’Arc Cave.
