At some point during their stay, the family living in P15 left, while the family in U5 dramatically changed their habits: having initially worked around the hearth, the knappers in U5 began to work outside the tent. We know that the majority of the outdoor hearths were in use from the earliest phase of U5. However, with the exception of N20, we do not know if they were still in use during the most recent phase.
It is possible that this change in behaviour coincided with the arrival of a milder season.
