Large Panel of Hand Dots

In the east-south-east corner of the Brunel Chamber, behind a barrier of concretions, almost one hundred organised punctuation marks appear to depict a large herbivore; a bison, rhinoceros, mammoth or deliberately indeterminate animal. The almost vertical wall is formed by a cleavage plane from the bumpy surface on the left. The dots created by hand palms painted with ochre are the most visible feature, but two animal representations are also more discreetly drawn here: the head of a bear and an indeterminate animal.
