The floor of the Sacristy, made up of grey clay, is very difficult to study as a result of its fragility. Here, M.A. Garcia has observed the dynamic footprints of a cloven-hoofed herbivore, which he interpreted as the trail of an ibex moving rapidly towards the end of the cave. He relates these footprints to those of the same type found in the Megaloceros Gallery. Ibex or chamois have been known to be present underground in the depths of caves.
